We would love you to return your empty refill pods and pouches back to us. We sterilise and refill pods to keep them in circulation and recycle pouches. If you participate in our loyalty programme, you can also earn 50 Beauty Circle Reward points for every pod or pouch you return to us. We will also take back any Emma Lewisham jars, bottles, lids, pumps and droppers for products that you no longer use.

All Emma Lewisham cardboard packaging and boxes are curbside recyclable, you do not need to send these back to us.

MECCA is now the exclusive home of Emma Lewisham products in Australia.

You can take your empties back to any MECCA store in Australia, and store team members will be able to assist in returning your empties via the Emma Lewisham Beauty Circle program. While you won't receive points for your returns, we recommend signing up to MECCA’s Beauty Loop to enjoy its incredible benefits and earn points for all your new purchases.

Why can’t I put them in curb side recycling? Arrow

Contrary to common belief, most beauty containers are not curbside recyclable. We want your empty products and pods back so that we can sterilise and reuse them, or ensure that any non-reusable components are properly recycled.

Is there anything I need to do before returning? Arrow

We would appreciate it if you could remove any excess product from the empties you are returning – the pods are dishwasher safe, so you can just put them in the dishwasher or hand wash them.

What happens to them after you receive them back? Arrow

The refill pods are sterilised, refilled and kept in circulation. Using refill pods over and over again means we can save on the energy, water and carbon emissions that are involved in producing a new one. If a refill pod is damaged, we ensure it is correctly recycled with a specialty recycling partner.

Can I get Beauty Circle Reward points for returning? Arrow

Yes, in New Zealand and the UK, we will give you 50 points for every empty pod or pouch you send us back. Simply return your pods and pouches using our free 'Beauty Circle Returns Label' that you can select in the Emma Lewisham Checkout Cart.

Before the end of each month, we count all returned pods and pouches from the previous month, and issue the reward points.

Please be aware that there might be a delay between when you send your pods back and when points are issued.

Unfortunately, if you return your pod to a retail partner we cannot match this to your Beauty Circle Rewards account.

Please note, we only award points for our refill pod and pouches when they’re returned, not our jars and bottles. This gives you more opportunity to collect points, as our jars and bottles are designed to be kept and used long-term.

How to return

Depending on where you are in the world, there are different options for returning, either via post or dropping off in-store.

New Zealand Arrow

Via Post

1. During checkout, you can add a free returns label to your order, simply click the option to add a Beauty Circle Return Label to your cart.

Alternatively, email us at hello@emmalewisham.co.nz to request a Beauty Circle Return label.

2. Pop your empty vessels into an old box. We ask that you collect four empty vessels before returning them to help reduce carbon emissions.

3. Close it back up and pop the free return shipping label on the top. Drop it to your nearest post office.

Drop off in-store

A selection of our retail partners also have an Emma Lewisham Beauty Circle Returns box in-store for you to drop off your Emma Lewisham empties to be refilled or recycled, look for the asterisk (*) by each retailer’s name to find your nearest drop off point here.

1. Email us at hello@emmalewisham.co.nz with your address and we’ll provide a UPS return label to our USA warehouse.

2. Pop your vessels into an old box. We ask that you collect four empty vessels before returning them to help reduce carbon emissions. Place the return shipping label on the box and drop it to your nearest post office.

1. Collect six empty pods before returning them to help reduce carbon emissions. All Emma Lewisham cardboard packaging and boxes are curbside recyclable, we kindly ask that you do not send these back to us.

2. Pop your empty pods into an old box. 

3. Please contact hello@emmalewisham.co.nz and provide:

• The number of empty pods you are returning
• The weight & dimensions of the filled package Height (mm), Length (mm), Width (mm), Weight (grams).
• Previous order number – so we can add Beauty Circle Reward points to your account.
• Pick up address or DHL drop off location (if known).

We will generate a return label, and email this to you to print and place on the package. You can then schedule a convenient day/time for pick up or drop off at a DHL location.
