Gentle acids, AHA from Lactic Acid and BHA from Willow Bark, draw out impurities and daily surface build up, while biodegradable Jojoba Wax Beads gently buff away debris without causing micro-tears. This chemical-physical exfoliant provides deep exfoliating action without aggravation for smoother, brighter and more even skin.

Hydrating and Protecting Complex

Saccharide Isomerate harnesses innovative ‘rinse-resistant’ hydration technology designed to provide deep 24-hour hydration, antioxidant rich botanicals visibly improve skin tone and texture, and Aloe barbadensis leaf juice and Glycerin calm and hydrate the skin to enable deep exfoliation without irritation. Clarifying Complex

Application

Massage 2 pumps of Illuminating Exfoliant onto damp skin for 20 seconds before rinsing thoroughly with lukewarm water. Use 2-3 times a week in the evening.

Emma's Tips

To supercharge your exfoliation, you can use your Illuminating Exfoliant as a mask. Apply it to dry skin and leave it on for 5-10 minutes to allow the AHAs and BHAs to deeply exfoliate. I then add a little water and massage the formulation into my face and neck for 1 minute before rinsing.

If exfoliating in the shower, I recommend cooling the water temperature slightly when cleansing your face to avoid drying out your skin.

I have never, ever used such a lovely exfoliant

I don’t usually rave on about products, but and a big but, I have just used my exfoliant for the first time. WOW, WOW, WOW. I have never, ever used such a lovely exfoliant. It is lovely, not too harsh, just right. I am truly impressed and plan to get some for my daughter and grand-daughter. Thank you.

Gentle but effective

I have sensitive 56 year old skin and to be honest was reluctant to try another brand. Wow- so glad I did. My skin feels soft and yes, “illuminated” after use. No irritation or redness. Made me feel more confident being without makeup ! Thank you - a game changer.

Loving this project

This smells so so good; it’s been super gentle on my skin which is fairly sensitive. My face is *glowing*, highly recommmend!

Best Face Exfoliator

Got the refill pack as I wanted this to take overseas. I spend a lot of time in the sun/ocean and this combined with a konjac sponge works a treat. Refill pack is great for travel and I'll put it in my container when I get home.

I just want to say the BIGGEST THANK YOU to you for making such an amazing product such as the "Emma Lewisham Illuminating Exfoliant". I have very sensitive skin and have only used INNOXA for years. I have tried many other products that my Mum and sister have recommended that are for sensitive skin and reacted every time. I am now always very reluctant to trial any products, but after listening to your podcast and trialling my sister's Exfoliant three times now I can happily and confidently say my skin feels ok and no rash or swollenness. I am now happy to purchase the bottle myself. So once again I really appreciate you creating a product that uses natural ingredients that are happy for my face skin.

Amazing exfoliant

This is hands down the best exfoliant I’ve used. It feels gentle whilst actually doing an amazing job with out feeling abrasive. My skin feels supple and soft afterwards.

Gentle but highly effective exfoliant

I love this exfoliant it is so gentle but really effective. It lasts a really long time and this is my first refill around a year after the initial purchase. The refill is very easy to use and I also had great customer service from Mia to help unclog the original pump

Fabulous

What a beautiful exfoliant. The scent is delicate, which is important to me as I cannot tolerate strong scents. The result from using this was fabulous. My skin was so smooth and so soft, I love it.

FAVORITE EXFOLIANT ON THE WHOLE PLANET

The first night I tried this, I ran out of the bathroom screaming because my face lit up like a lightbulb. Boyfriend agreed. The clock turned back and when I looked in the mirror, my 31 year-old face looked like a baby’s newborn bottom. It’s quite a steal at this price considering it’s a humongous bottle that lasts 1-2 years. I’ve tried other luxury chemical/physical exfoliants out there (double the price FYI) but they are either too irritating for my slightly sensitive skin, or the effects just aren’t impressive enough. Plus they don’t smell nearly as good as the refreshing floral scent of this one (similar to the Day Creme). I’m usually very greedy when it comes to trying out new skincare, but after 2 years of trying different exfoliants beyond this product, they just can’t compete with Emma Lewisham. I rest my case and give up - sticking with this in the future because it’s perfect in every way :)
